This workshop is designed to strengthen connections with key standardization committees working on data spaces and smart grids. Together, we will review the current state of standardization activities, highlight key priorities, and discuss opportunities for providing meaningful contributions and input.
Drawing on insights from OMEGA-X and related projects, we will share progress in implementing data spaces within the energy sector, present findings from the task force on energy interoperability frameworks, and identify gaps and best practices. Our goal is to deliver actionable recommendations to standardization bodies. Additionally, the session will feature an in-depth discussion on vertical and horizontal interoperability challenges, setting the stage for next steps.
We will also present a detailed analysis of needs, gaps, and key findings to develop concrete recommendations for SDOs (Standard Development Organizations).
