OMEGA-X Showcases Interoperability Achievements at Energy Data Spaces Cluster Final Event: recordings available!

OMEGA-X took part in the final event of the Energy Data Spaces Cluster (EDSCP) on March 27, hosted at the Fraunhofer offices in Brussels. This event marked a significant milestone in the joint efforts of the five sister projects, with a strong focus on real-world interoperability between systems and platforms.

The results presented at the event were largely based on the outcomes of the interoperability test held in early March 2025 at the premises of OMEGA-X partner Tecnalia in Bilbao. During this joint testing session, the sister projects conducted live demonstrations and technical tests, laying the groundwork for the showcases presented in Brussels. These activities highlighted the tangible progress made through cross-project collaboration.

OMEGA-X played a central role in all system use cases featured during the final event, contributing significantly to the Cluster’s shared success. Attendees witnessed compelling live demos of interoperability achievements, reinforcing the importance of standardised, connected data solutions across the European energy landscape.

Representatives from the European Commission also attended and provided valuable feedback and strategic input, underlining the importance of aligning project outcomes with the EU’s broader vision for common data spaces and digitalisation in energy.

To ensure broader access, the entire final event was recorded and has been divided into six video segments for easier viewing. The recordings are now available here below, offering an accessible way to revisit the discussions and demonstrations.

Together with the BRIDGE General Assembly earlier that week, the EDSCP final event demonstrated the value of collaboration and innovation in driving the digital transformation of the energy sector. OMEGA-X’s active engagement in both events highlights its key role in advancing a unified, data-driven, and sustainable energy future for Europe.
