The OMEGA-X consortium convened for its most recent General Assembly on March 13–14 at the NORCE Norwegian Research Centre in Bergen—welcomed by rare sunshine that offered a scenic setting for the two-day event.
Jointly hosted by NORCE and Aarhus University, the meeting highlighted progress from the 10 pilot projects spanning the project’s four use case families. Live demonstrations showcased the advances achieved over the past year, as OMEGA-X moves into its final phase. Discussions centered on pilot outcomes and key insights from the recent interoperability tests. These findings will be captured in the forthcoming deliverables and presented at the final project review.
Looking ahead, the consortium is preparing for several important milestones, including the OMEGA-X Standardisation Workshop, the BRIDGE Initiative’s General Assembly, and the closing event of the Energy Data Spaces Cluster Projects (EDSCP). These events will play a vital role in fostering collaboration and visibility across Europe’s energy data landscape.
Once approved by the European Commission, the final deliverables will be published on the OMEGA-X website. Stay tuned for updates!
